Mumin began his adventure with turntables at the end of 2003,
when for the first time he could play for his friends at a New Year's Eve Party - but before that...
He was a regular on the polish club scene almost from it's begining - he used to go to clubs such as Filtry, Blue Velvet and Trend,
where he was a dancer and worked there for over two years... it was the best time for all Polish clubbers - 1995!! This experience on the other side of the turtables has helped make him the Dj he is today,
always knowing what the crowd want!
In 2002 he has met dj Sunny and from this moment his only dream was to own decks - there was only one problem - money - so he decided to give up University ...for the music!.
After buying decks in the last month of 2003, the hard practice and dedication meant that just three months later he was playing his first club gig in Warsaw.
After more than a year Mumin has taken up residency at Opium.
From this time his reputation behind the decks grew and got him many bookings at
most of Poland's best clubs. He has played alongside dj's from Poland and elsewhere including WAWA (Defected Rec.) Jay Rogers (London/UK)
, Shield (Italy/Oxyd Rec.), Pete Haywood (Brighton/UK) It's hard to not notice him behind the decks with his party style, having fun, dancing and gettin the crowd into it! :) His style ranges from his favorite Vocal & Disco flavoured house up to more pumpin french filtered house, but he always keeps it sexy! "...I love when people are having good time and the atmosphere at the club is hot & hate places where people come to show there new clothes etc." - he always says that :)
